Dontcha Hate?

So, right now I am kind of at a dead end. Summer is usually the time that I devour book after book, but it seems that this summer I just can't find anything that I'm like in love with.  The only book I have read all summer is Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone and I really don't think that counts because I have already read it countless times (although it never seems to get old).  The only other book I have even put an effort in to read is a book that was leant to me by my very dear friend it's called The Curius Incident of the Dog in the Night-time, I have to admit from what I have read already in this book (and keep in mind I am only thirty-two pages into this book), it is a pretty good book.  I hate to say it, but I'm not in love with it.  Dontcha just hate when you can't find that amazing book that you can't put down?  Please if anyone has any suggestions hit me with them.

Movie Review: (500) Days of Summer

So I haven't exactly finished this movie yet, but I am watching this as I write.  So after a "long" day at work, I knew that I had to come home and work a party music playlist, unfortunately this movie is so adorable (so far) that I literally have scouted out no music at all.  The bumbling way Tom and Summer fall in love is extremely relatable.  Although I have heard that the ending is not as cutely happy as the beginning of the movie.  I may have to check back on this review later but as of right now I think this movie should definitely be put into your queue.

Movie Review: Going The Distance

Funny Love Story

Alright, so if you haven't guessed by now I'm a bit of a movie nerd.  I recorded this movie on my DVR and I have to admit I fel in love with it instantly.  I don't know if it was the quirky humor or the very adorable Justin Long, that stole my attention.  Whatever it was I really suggest this movie.  If you are looking for a good laugh I would rent this.

Movie Review: Swept Away

Bad movie in a great way.

So this is not a movie I would typically pick out to watch, but I happened to be sitting on the couch with my mother one night when she stumbled across this movie.  As you may have heard this movie is a Madonna movie, directed by her husband.  I really don't know what to say about this movie other than the fact that this movie seemed like nothing more than Madonna looking for ways to stay in the limelight.  I would say that this movie is a combination of all of Madonnas sick fantasies thrown into one seemingly awful movie. This movie not only promotes men hitting women in a way it shows that women enjoy it?  Although this movie truly is awful I do have to say that it is a hidden gem, and I use that term loosely.  It is worth seeing, but more for laughs and comments.  If you get the chance watch it, I sincerely think the two hundred movie love montages will make you love it.

Would have given my right arm to have seen this

Movie Review: Teeth

Great movie in a bad way.

This movie makes it really hard to tell whether or not it was meant to be a serious horror flick or a comedy.  The idea itself is enough to send you for a loop.  Vagina Dentata?  If you don't know what it is than take a few seconds and google it.  This movie is one movie that I feel the need to share with other people (like my best friends, and even just other people who share the same twisted mindset as me).  It's a movie that gives you a real laugh, whether it was meant to or not.
